Our school depends upon and is tremendously enriched by the vital resources brought by our families. Well beyond tuition and fee payments, our parents/guardians provide extensive volunteer hours, contributions of professional expertise, and financial donations to our annual fund. These commitments, in addition to tuition and fees, are expected from all families but are made, of course, according to families’ abilities and means.

Tuition and FEES for 2011 - 2012 SCHOOL YEAR

Pre-K/Kindergarten 

Pre-K/Kindergarten, ages 3 1/2 through 6 years, 8:15am to 12:15pm

5 days/week (Mon - Fri) - $6500 per school year

3 days/week (T, W, Th) - $4650 per school year

Extended Care, 12:15pm – 2:45pm

5 days/week - $2000 per school year

Sibling Discounts

Sibling discounts on tuition are in effect for the 2011-2012 school year: Families are offered a 12.5% tuition reduction for a second child enrolled, a 30% tuition reduction for a third child enrolled, and a 50% tuition reduction for a fourth or more children enrolled.

Tuition Adjustment

Four Winds Waldorf School is committed to maintaining a student body that is socio-economically diverse. Our Tuition Adjustment Program offers families the opportunity to have their children’s tuition reduced based upon demonstrated financial need. Tuition Adjustment is available to families whose children will be in their “true Kindergarten” year and the Grades. Families may apply for Tuition Adjustment via the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment website once their child has been accepted to a program and the Enrollment Deposit has been received.

Tuition Payment Options

Single Payment Option
Payment in full may be made by check or credit card (credit card payments incur a 3% bank fee). Families are eligible for a 3% discount on tuition when paid in one lump sum upon initial enrollment and upon re-enrollment.  Re-enrolling families must make the lump sum payment by the date specified in the Enrollment Contract to qualify for the 3% discount. 

Monthly Payment Option
Families who do not pay tuition in one lump sum are required to submit payment in monthly installments via automatic withdrawal.  Monthly payments begin in August and end in May. Families enrolling after August will have their withdrawal schedule adjusted with the final withdrawal occurring in May. Families paying in installments must register with FACTS Tuition Management. FACTS will automatically deduct your monthly payments from your checking or savings account and will in turn transfer the funds to the school. Families paying via FACTS may choose the 5th of the month or 20th of the month to have payments withdrawn. A $41 annual fee is charged by FACTS for this service and will be withdrawn directly by FACTS from your checking or savings account upon execution of the FACTS Agreement.

Supply Fees, Music Fees & Tuition Insurance Payment

Supply fees, music fees and tuition insurance are due in full prior to the start of the school year or prior to attending classes for mid-year enrollment.

Extended Care Contracts

A separate contract is generated for Extended Care usage. The usage fee for this program may be paid in advance or may be paid in monthly installments via FACTS Tuition Management. Extended Care Contracts may be canceled in full or in part with 2 weeks written notice with no further financial obligation on the part of the family.
