Race To Nowhere – Continuing the Conversation

Print this Page

Significant changes in our education system are needed to provide all our children with a learning environment which respects and honors each child as a developing human being. The changes that are needed may take some time requiring not only patience, dedication and tenacity by those calling for change but also a great deal of imagination and inspiration.

The conversations have begun to look at the pressure our children are under as they move through their formative years and the documentary film RACE TO NOWHERE has provided a focal point for these conversations.

Four Winds Waldorf School is interested in continuing the conversation out of an interest in our future.

On December 8, 2010, the New York Times featured an article about RACE TO NOWHERE titled Parents Embrace Documentary on Pressures of School.  Click here to read it.

We will use this page to

  • provide additional resources
  • announce future conversations
  • alert our friends to other activities and initiatives
  • present links to other sites of interest

Please stay engaged in this important work of planning for a renewal of our society
