A School Tour provides an opportunity to experience and learn about our classical education program providing a core curriculum integrated with the arts. Visit our classes (Pre-K through 8th Grade) in session and experience our lessons in a variety of grades and subjects. Curriculum displays and a variety of informational materials are presented. School tours also include an orientation on Waldorf philosophy, a question & answer session and a tour of our beautiful outdoor campus.
Waldorf Journeys/Grades Samplers
A Waldorf Journey/Grades Sampler allows for a walk through our Grades program. This event includes formal presentations by faculty, parents and Four Wind’s alumni. Interactive workshops allow firsthand experience how our unique techniques are applied in the classroom. Journeys also include an open Question & Answer session and a tour of our campus.
A Preschool Sampler provides parents and their children to experience a morning in a Waldorf Preschool/Kindergarten classroom. Children’s capacity for creative thinking is fostered through imaginative play while broad and fundamental experiences in movement, the arts, and real “work” lay the foundation for later academic learning. Parents have the opportunity to learn about our unique program and to ask questions of Faculty.
